It's not too far from Ha Noi for those who have time
constraints & there's everything from rafting to trekking & Hill Tribe
visits. |
Day 1 |
Ha Noi to Mai Chau then to Van village |
| We'll pick you up at approx 8.00 AM & then you'll go in a
late model air-con (always) mini bus with your guide to Mai Chau. Along
the way you’ll stop for a short rest at the enormous hydro station at Hoa
Binh & reach Mai Chau around lunch time. After lunch you're off walking to a Thai village. The treck is about 10 km's & you‘ll reach the village at approx 5.30 PM. Tonight you’ll sleep in a “Thai” minority Stilt-house. All your beds will have Mozzie nets so you won’t have to worry. (O/night in Van Village ) |

Day 2 |
Van village to Mai Chau |
| You’ll get up early & after brekkie you're off for a good
day trekking of about 25 km. Along the way you'll stop at So village for
lunch & then continue to Pom Co village where you'll be staying overnight.
You’ll arrive at Pom Co at approx 6.00 PM. Tonight you’ll be with another family & they'll do all the cooking (the food’s fantastic !) & get your beds ready for you. It really is lovely & our friends will take really good care of you. The beds are very comfy & again will have Mozzie nets. (O/night in Mai Chau) |

Day 3 |
Mai Chau to Hanoi |
| Another early rise, (it’s a bit like that on the farm I’m afraid) & after brekkie you can spend some time looking around village. It's really is very beautiful & they have some beautiful handi-crafts to buy at very reasonable prices. You'll leave the village around 12.30pm after lunch & be back to Hanoi at approximately 5.00 PM. | |
